Provo South State Street Safety Improvement Project

Provo State Street Safety Improvement Project | 900 South to 1860 South

Last year, Provo City and the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) installed a 10’ multi-use trail and improved the parkstrip, curb and gutter and shoulder along the east side of South State Street between 1860 South and 1120 South. Construction of the remaining section of the pedestrian trail between 1120 South and 900 South is scheduled to begin later this spring and is anticipated to be complete and ready for use by fall 2013. Work on the trail will also include shoulder widening in some areas, as well as the construction of curb and gutter, a park strip and a 10’ path. New decorative lighting and landscaping will also be installed in the park strip.
