Project Overview

UDOT’s South Layton Interchange project is bringing congestion relief and safety improvements to the rapidly growing Layton area. Project components include construction of a new freeway interchange, an Express Lane addition along the I-15 corridor, a new east-west connector road, a grade-separated crossing over the railroad tracks and improvements to Main Street. The project was delivered using a design-build format. TLG assisted UDOT staff in the development of public involvement initiatives during the design-build contract procurement phase. TLG currently manages public outreach during construction in coordination with the design-build team. Responsibilities include maintaining communication with commuters, residents, businesses and schools and facilitation of a Citizen Review Board.
