Project Overview

The Syracuse Road project is widening Syracuse Road (Antelope Drive) from two lanes to five lanes between 1000 West and 2000 West in Syracuse City, vastly improving one of the most heavily traveled east-west corridors in Davis County. The Syracuse Road project was delivered using the Construction Management General Contractor (CMGC) method, which provided an opportunity for The Langdon Group to be involved early in the project design. The Langdon Group was consulted throughout the CMGC process on issues related to the public, including impacts to businesses, residents, the city, and coordination with utility companies. The Langdon Group designed and is now implementing all public outreach efforts in coordination with the UDOT project management and general contractor staff.
