J-U-B Hosts 2025 Annual Shareholders Meeting

On March 29, J-U-B Engineers, Inc. organized a company-wide event, bringing together a record-breaking 112 employees for its 2025 Annual Shareholders Meeting. The event served as a platform to celebrate company milestones, discuss strategic initiatives, and ensure input and participation from shareholders for the future, as an employee-owned company.

Friday evening, the event began as a reception for networking and dinner. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with fellow employees and foster professional connections. The official meeting began on Saturday, covering key business updates, including:

Welcoming New Partners – J-U-B proudly introduced new partners from Anderson Consulting and marked the one-year anniversary of AEI joining the company.

Financial Highlights – Accountant McKenna Thompson of Ripley Doorne presented a review of J-U-B’s record-breaking financial performance in 2024. The company also recognized longtime accountant Perry Obendorf for his dedicated service as he prepares for retirement.

Strategic Growth and Innovation – Presentations addressed J-U-B’s strategic approach to growth, employee success, and client services.  In addition, leadership discussed the integration of Artificial Intelligence and key initiatives for 2025 and beyond.

Stock Policy Updates – Shareholders unanimously approved updates to the company’s Articles of Incorporation and Stock Acquisition Policy, reinforcing J-U-B’s commitment to long-term employee-ownership and sustainability.

The meeting concluded with an engaging Q&A session, demonstrating the dedication and involvement of J-U-B’s shareholders.

Board Leadership Updates

During the meeting, J-U-B shareholders elected Kasey Hansen as a new Director. Hansen, who manages J-U-B’s Gateway Mapping subsidiary, brings expertise in GIS, asset management, and artificial intelligence. He joins the Board for a two-year term alongside re-elected directors Steve JamesAlan Giesbrecht, and Tim Haener. Together, they will serve alongside existing Board members Brian SmithBrian DeeterToby Elper, and Alex Fazzari. We extend gratitude to Vince Loftus for his 12 years of board service and welcome him as a Board Advisor.

“We’re very excited to have Kasey join the Board,” said Tim Haener, Chairman, “He’ll bring valuable perspectives to position J-U-B in this rapidly evolving industry. Many thanks to Vince for his 12 years of service on the Board of Directors, and we look forward to his continued input as a Board Advisor.  J-U-B is blessed with leadership that models our value, allowing our “helping each other” culture to drive profits, and not the other way around.”

 

The Board also reappointed key corporate officers, including:

Brian Smith – President/CEO

Cory Baune – Executive Vice President

Zan Murry – Executive Vice President

Laurel Fritz – Treasurer

Karin Shannon – Secretary

Additionally, all Board members and Loftus were appointed as Vice Presidents, with the exception of Haener, who will continue his role as Chairman of the Board.
