Beginning in 2015, The Langdon Group has maintained a trusted advisor role to the City of Nampa, Environmental Compliance Division (ECD). Funded by Environmental Protection Agency grants, TLG has functioned as an extension of ECD staff to support their Stormwater Education Program in an effort to increase the community’s awareness and participation concerning stormwater impacts on water quality in local water bodies, with special focus on Nampa’s Hispanic communities, one of the largest in the state.

The Langdon Group worked closely with the City and community members to facilitate an advisory committee and implement community lead programs including:

• Developing materials and leading youth educational programs
• The development and construction of a demonstration rain garden, designed by J-U-B Landscape Architect Jenna Meyers [See hyperlink in PPT to local news story, could be in sidebar/breakout box]
• Production of informative videos
• Design and implementation of interpretative signage along Nampa creeks
