TLG led the outreach for the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument Resource Management Plan (CSNM) revision. This included facilitation of internal communication processes, a situation assessment and report during the pre-planning phase, and outreach and public participation during the RMP and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). TLG facilitated a series of pre-planning meetings to develop a team charter and comprehensive internal communications protocol for a project team that encompasses three District Offices, three Field Offices and two State Offices. To inform the outreach plan, TLG conducted an extensive situational assessment to gather baseline information from over 90 representatives of interested parties. Input and recommendations from the situation assessment guided the development and implementation of the Outreach and Public Participation Plan associated with the EIS. TLG developed supporting communication materials and planned and facilitated 3 in-person public open houses and 1 virtual public meeting. TLG also tracked, managed, categorized, and contributed to responses for hundreds of public comments.
