The Free Roaming Equid and Ecosystem Sustainability Network (FREES) is a diverse stakeholder group working to achieve the goal of healthy horses on healthy western landscapes.
The Langdon Group works with various stakeholders’ groups and agencies to facilitate wild horse and burro summits for the FREES network through Utah State University. This includes summits in Reno, Nevada (2019); Cody, Wyoming (2020); St. George, Utah (2022); and Elko, Nevada (2024). The Langdon Group helps this very diverse group of stakeholders – representing over 90 different organizations – successfully convene and develop diverse working groups in an ongoing effort to tackle this very complex issue and help support the agencies whose job it is to implement wild horse and burro policy.
