Did you know The Langdon Group was born out of a need to better work with the public on complex infrastructure projects? 20 years ago, J-U-B Engineers, Inc. was navigating a challenging wastewater project in Idaho City and was encountering resistance from the public. In response, J-U-B initiated a pursuit to learn how to work with the public and met with Larry Susskind at MIT about how to successfully integrate public involvement processes and collaboration into projects. In 1997, The Langdon Group was formed as a subsidiary of J-U-B Engineers.

One thing any TLG employee will tell you is that one of the best things about working for TLG is the variety of work – no two days are ever the same! Over the past 20 years, TLG has built a resume of diverse work with a variety of clients. From facilitating nuclear clean-up advisory boards to conducting situational assessments for the BLM’s sage grouse management plan to providing public involvement and agency coordination on large-scale NEPA projects, our team is doing some amazing work.

Here’s to 20 more years!
